Things I’m Loving Lately #2

Orna UK hand painted taper candles

Rounding up another batch of favorites. The vibe for the remainder of 2021 moving into 2022 is “JOY” so I’m sharing a few pieces and things that are currently giving me a boost of joy! If you want even more joy, check out the first edition of Things I’m Loving Lately.

  • Hand-painted home accessories – I have to start out the TILL list #2 with these amazing, hand-painted taper candles that I am literally obsessed with! If you are equally obsessed you must check out Orna UK. These gorgeous candles from Orna came into existence after Megan, the owner, pivoted her nail design business to homeware due to the pandemic. After falling in love with these candles (& the origin story) from the latest Molly Makes issue, I decided I MUST have some.  I am so glad I was able to snag a couple on the latest drop because they have quickly become my favorite home accessory. HINT: Make sure you follow the brand on IG if you want to snag a few on the next release!
  • It’s BOOT SEASON, baby! – I am officially boot obsessed. Seriously, someone help…do I go for the Dagget, a western-style cowboy boot or the Lowland, a quintessentially fall OTK boot with a twist? I am still in the process of narrowing down which pair I will purchase this season but here are the pairs on my shortlist! Either way, I need some new boots (and maybe a new fall outfit or two!)

  • “Crafty” organization – Sharing my latest project. I needed some organization for my craft tools, I wanted the iconic IKEA peg board, and I decided to DIY it to match my craft room/office aesthetic. It’s not Pinterest-worthy but it looks so dang cute on my walls with the added bonus that I have a place to hang my 18- and 24-inch sewing rulers and various crafting scissors. PLUS I can showcase my stationery favorites, like this card from Ash & Chess. I’ll be sure to share an updated pic once I figure out the optimal organization setup!
