L’Oreal Pure Clay Masks & Cleanser Review

Getting down and dirty with the L’Oreal Pure Clay skincare line!

L’oreal Pure clay mask and cleanser Review

Let’s face it, I’m a sucker for skincare.

I’m always trying and testing the latest and “greatest” in skincare products. Luckily for me (and my wallet), drugstore brands have been stepping up their quality so I no longer have to spend a ton of money on great, staple skincare products.  I love a good detox mask and clay products are notoriously good for soothing oily skin so you KNOW I had to purchase a few goodies from the L’Oreal Pure Clay line from CVS.

I’m a huge fan of these L’Oreal Pure Clay products! I’m honestly so surprised but very pleased that these products are such great quality. The L’oreal Pure Clay exfoliating cleanser AND detoxifying mask have made their way onto my repurchase list. They also have earned a spot on my drugstore skincare holy grail list. Fingers crossed this line will stick around for a long time!

L’Oreal Pure Clay Purifying Mask

This purifying mask is a light sage green color with the soothing scent of eucalyptus. A great calming mask for troubled skin.  I like to use this when I multi-mask to purifying calmer parts of my skin like my jawlines and temples.

L’Oreal Pure Clay Exfoliating Cleanser

The Pure Clay exfoliating cleanser is one of the most amazing cleansers I have purchased from the drugstore to date!  This cleanser starts as a thick clay but turns a light mousse-y texture when mixed with water.  You can feel the clay granules gently exfoliate the dead skin while cleansing your skin.  This cleanser doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped, dry, or tight. Instead, my skin feels smooth and ready for the next steps in my routine. I love using this cleanser on my “lazy skincare” days because I can cleanse and exfoliate in one step.

L’Oreal Pure Clay Detoxifying Mask

I’m so glad there is finally a drugstore clay mask that exceeds the hype and claims of other well-known, higher-end clay masks (looking at you Glamglow)! As this mask dries on the skin, you can really see the oil that is pulled from your pores from the charcoal in the mask. Little pore-sized dots of oil become visible against the lighter, dried areas of clay mask.  Oilier areas like the nose and chin might even have fully saturated splotches of dark areas. After I rinse the clay mask from my face, my skin felt so soft and smooth. You can view this mask in action on my 7 Steps to Combat Oily Skin post! I highly recommend this mask if you’re in the market to extract some oil from your pores or detox your skin.

Have you tried any products from the L’Oreal Pure Clay skincare line? If not, what are some of your drugstore skincare holy grail products?
