Friday Favorites: Things I’m Loving Lately

A crazy week? In 2020? 2019 Brittny would not have believed you if you were to tell me even one of the major events that have happened this year. yet, here we are. If anything, this year has taught me to find joy in the simpler things. Rounding up a few of the things I’ve been loving lately so you can find a little joy too!

1. Sherpa EVERYTHING!

Sherpa is having a moment, all my favorite brands are participating, and I’m 100% here for ALL OF IT!. Nothing says comfy-cozy like a thick, Sherpa pullover for a relaxing walk in the fall breeze. One of my go-to outfits this fall has been a bodysuit, joggers, and a sherpa shacket – effortlessly cute and warm.

2. The Ordinary – Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG

Holy cow have I been LOVING this eye serum. My husband and I have been using it non-stop to lighten our dark circles and under-eye area in the mornings. Love it for making me look more awake during my Webex and Zoom calls without needing concealer!

3. Fashionable Face Masks

Okay, so let’s be honest…COVID-19 is still around and we are quickly approaching cold & flu season. Mostly likely mask will still be the most-worn accessory of the season so we may as well invest in some cute ones! My favorites brands like Tory Burch and Free People have been coming out with fashionable versions and I always pick up a mask pack when I go on a Target run.

4. At-Home Coffee Bar

I’ve been finding that creating interesting routines gives me something to look forward to each day with all the unpredictableness of the world currently. We keep a variety of coffee on hand (iced, instant, and pre-ground) to keep things interesting and I’ve been loving all the coffee accouterment. If you’re feeling a slump in your morning or miss your morning Starbucks run, try boosting up your coffee routine!

5. New Baking Recipes

Just picked up the BraveTart cookbook and I’ll be damned if some serious baking sessions are not in my future. Everything in this book looks AMAZING. For the unaware, BraveTart is a baking cookbook written by Stella Parks of Serious Eats royalty. It might just be the inspo I need to bring my KitchenAid Mixer out of hiding!
