It’s finally starting to feel like fall here in Texas so, even though the fall candles were out and burning before the temperature dropped below 80 degrees, I’ve rounded up my Bath & Body Works fall candle favorites! I go full-on gourmand in the fall when it comes to home fragrance so a majority of these fall candle scents are food related. I want my home to smell like I’ve been baking fall desserts all day so I don’t have to! Next time you’re near a Bath and Body Works be sure to drop in and smell some candles. Don’t forget to check for coupons, too. Now – let’s get into the candles….
Pumpkin Peanut Brittle
NOTES: Crunchy Caramel Brittle, Salty Peanuts, and Toasted Pumpkin Seeds
Let’s get started with my FAVORITE fall candle this season. This candle is everything fall and still so much more. The perfect blend of sweet caramel, butter, and pumpkin with a kick of salty peanut. I cannot stop talking about how great this candle smells and the throw is amazing. I have three backups of this beloved fall candle already (thank goodness for B&BW coupons!) The scent is so addicting yet complex enough that I don’t get tired of it. Even if you’re not into typical sweet scents, you should still give Pumpkin Peanut Brittle a whiff. My husband hates pumpkin and HE’S even a big fan of this scent.
In-Tents Coffee (Paris Cafe)
NOTES: Campfire Roasted Coffee, Vanilla Crème, Sprinkle of Sugar with Essential Oils
I’ve been on the hunt for the infamous Paris Cafe candle for a long time. Little did I know, it was right under my nose! The Paris Cafe candle is also being sold under the name In-Tents Coffee so if you are still on the hunt THERE IS HOPE. This scent turns your home into a coffee shop with it’s notes of vanilla and espresso beans. I burn this candle first thing in the morning to “wake up” the rest of the home. In-Tents Coffee can get a bit overwhelming (intense) after a while, as most coffee-themed things can for me, but it is a true coffee scent with a hint of creamy sweetness.
Blueberry Maple Pancakes
NOTES: Wild Blueberries, Griddle Fresh Pancakes, Warm Maple Syrup
Everything you love about fall weekend mornings: berries, butter, and maple syrup. The blueberry note hits you first with it’s ripe freshness and then rounds out with a warm, buttery finish. The only down-side to this candle is that it makes me wish my husband was in the kitchen actually making blueberry pancakes with warm maple syrup. Sigh, a girl can dream, I guess! Until then, Blueberry Maple Pancakes candle will have to do.
Marshmallow Fireside
NOTES: Toasted Marshmallow, Smoldering Woods, Fire Roasted Vanilla, Crystallized Amber
This fall candle scent reminds me of a roasting marshmallows by a fire on a cold autumn night. This is a good candle for the bedroom because of it’s smokey, sweet scent. Marshmallow Fireside is subtle in all the right ways and doesn’t hit you over the head with its smokey notes. This is a warm and nostalgic scent. It’s a cult favorite for a reason!
Sweater Weather
NOTES: Fresh Sage, Juniper Berry, Aromatic Eucalyptus, Fresh Woods
Rounding out the top 5 is Sweater Weather. Not food related at all (sometimes I need a break from baking all day, wink wink) and still fall festive. This candle is a great for people who prefer herbal or woodsy scents. Sweater Weather smells just like a crisp, fall day. It could very easily transition into the winter season with it’s cooling eucalyptus notes, too.
