A pretty normal week for me this week! Finally got to use this PandaBird Designs kit that I have been LUSTING and HOARDING for a few weeks now. I love the deep navy paired with the bright florals. The paper quality on this kit is hands-down one of the best I’ve used in a long time. High-quality, removable matte but it also has a slightly glossy quality to it as well.
Being Organized + Youtube… Can it be done?!
2018 is the year to finally things DONE. I promised myself this year not only would I strive to be more organized, I will also double-down my Youtube efforts and produce more high-quality videos on the brittnyTV Youtube channel. If you’re like me, simply speaking these wishes into existence just ain’t going to get it done. Sure, the law of attraction applies to some extent but I firmly believe if you want something, you HAVE plan, prep, and hustle for it.
Luckily for the both of us, I’ve created this video idea planning worksheet that you can download for FREE here to get started! It’s super simple: print out this worksheet (as many as you need) and get started with video idea planning! BAM. Don’t worry, I’ve broken down all the blanks because where there’s a worksheet, there’s an answer key 😉 View Post
easy banana bread recipe – walnuts optional
There’s nothing like a slice of delicious banana bread with a cup of coffee in the morning. This banana bread is so moist and flavorful you, like my husband, will be craving it all the time. Seriously! Luckily this recipe is simple to make and only requires one “secret” ingredient. My husband seriously loves this banana bread so I tend to make it pretty often.
I have good news and bad news. The good news is that I’ve pretty much nailed this recipe. The bad news is I’ve pretty much eaten my weight in banana bread thus ruining my new year’s resolution. Win some/lose some, right? View Post
Tried and true winter shower routine!
My skin just can’t win during the winter. Between cold winter air, piping-hot showers, and artificial heat my skin has been stripped of almost ALL it’s moisture (luckily I’ve been addicted to my homemade, flavored waters). I’m so glad to have finally perfected my 3 step winter shower routine to help keep my skin hydrated and soft all through winter. The last thing I want in the New Year is cracking, ashy skin. If you’re feeling stripped dry this winter, keep reading to see my top 3 winter shower routine products to defeat dry, dehydrated skin! View Post
The pancetta-panko-parmesean topping doesn’t hurt either
What makes the best mac and cheese?
I’m a no-egg mac and cheese girl. One, because I have a sensitivity to egg but also because I have never met an egg-bound mac and cheese dish that wasn’t GRAINY and curdled. In my opinion, the KEY to having the best mac and cheese is texture. We are aiming for a baked mac and cheese that is crunchy on the outside, and ooey-gooey on the inside. This recipe is all about texture juxtaposition and texture juxtaposition leads to the BEST mac and cheese. View Post
Your current cleansing routine might not be enough.
When I first started getting interested in skincare I thought I was doing great. Heck, I used to SLEEP in my makeup, surely anything is better than that! Or so I thought…
I would cleanse my skin with whatever new product sounded cool at the drugstore – everything from apricot scrub to a grapefruit foaming cleanser. I totally thought I was not only “on-trend” but that, in no time, my skin would be as flawless as the ladies in the advertisements. But no matter what cleanser I tried, my skin always had a micro layer of makeup and dirt that was always evident by the marks left on my cotton pads or white towels. View Post
